Fantastic Job Constructing My New Home

ANN Contractors constructed a new home for us located at 1880 Carlisle Drive, San Marino, CA 91108. We found Abe Nabbout to be both a professional and reliable contractor delivering the promised quality of work and achieving both project schedule and project cost.
Demolition of our old home commenced during April 2010 and construction of our new home was completed on schedule during January 2011. The construction process was uneventful and the quality of the work met our expectations and was consistent with the quality of work we had seen at other ANN Contractor’s projects. During construction all issues and concerns pointed out by the owners we addressed promptly and to the owner’s satisfaction.
During construction we meet frequently with Abe to reconcile construction reality to the ideal of architectural plans. These meetings were very productive as Abe was very receptive to any clarifications to the plans provided by the owners and always had a productive suggestion on how to adjust the actual construction to meet the objective of the plans.
Our project contained an excessive amount of granite counters and stone/tile work. Although we paid for the actual materials that exceeded the material allowance in the bid estimate by approximately 10 times the bid estimate allowance, ANN Contractors installed the material at the original bid estimate of labor costs. Although Abe could have easily made the case that we had exceeded the original bid estimate amount due to the quality of material that required installation, Abe consistently managed to the costs in the original bid estimate.
Project costs progressed per the estimate. Like all projects there were additions and deletions to the scope of work based upon changes by the owners. All change orders were handled fairly and the final tally for construction was mutually agreed too by both parties. Progress payments were requested only after the work for each milestone was completed. Lien releases were supplied at the time progress payments were made and there were no issues with liens during our recent refinancing. After final payments were made, several minor issues surfaced. These were handled promptly under the one-year warranty provided with the construction.
We were quite satisfied with the performance of ANN Contractors and highly recommend them to anyone contemplating construction of a new home.
