A payment was charged to my girlfriend's card by this company that she did not authorize and when she called the company to dispute the transaction the person who claimed to by the manager accused her of stealing the card. He claimed the credentials of the card, including her billing zip code had been verified, but the zip code he had given her was from a completely different state.
As a representative for PNC Bank NA I'm well aware of the processes which a merchant must undergo to verify a card and seeing as the billing zip code didn't even match it's safe to say that their business practices are lacking. We have already contacted the bank as well as the authorities.
Aside from the fact that they authorized a fraudulent transaction, to accuse her of stealing her own card after they failed to do something as basic as verifying their client is a clear indication that this company fails in both service and sales.
Finally, I'd like to say that as further evidence that this company is perfectly fine with being fraudulent, they list themselves on their site as being accredited by the BBB, while their BBB profile clearly states that they are not. We will be filing a claim through the BBB to take further actions against this company.
