Still waiting for refund

Spoke to John Real 10/9 about my tax problem, he emailed me checklist of what to send and request for $1550 which I paid by BOA debit. I never sent anything back, my employer set me up with her tax attorney.I called John on 10-14, he assured me it would take 5-6 days for the money to be back in my account.I called again on 11/4 John again said he would take care of it.Called again on 11/17, same story. Left message on 12/16, no reply, on 12/17 John called to say he would return money, 1/4 John says by law the company can't keep the money,promised he would refund to BOA. I STILL DO NOT have my refund.I never signed anything or gave power of attorney. Do not deal with these people they are a scam.They don't deserve any stars.
