USLMP Took my money I need help. Disabled Vet

I'm a disabled Vet Of 20 years service in the Marines. Because of my current medical status I applied for a Loan Modification with USLMP out of California. I talked extensively with them and after viewing their BB report I went with them. Better Business said they were ok but even though I told them that I was disabled and was trusting them with money that was hard for me to scrape up, they took my money and never did a thing. I could never do this. What the hell is this world coming to? Can anyone share any info that would help me recoup my money $3,500.00.
