Though our offices have a great deal of respect for the intention of the BBB, we do not subscribe to their third-party rating system. We choose not to do so due to the licensing obligations in our State. As the owner, I carry a valid DRE license and the NMLS endorsement which are the only requirements to practice mortgage restructuring in CA. Under those two licenses, there are regulatory agencies which license, educate and discipline my actions.
Additionally, we are small company that take a very limited number of clients (no more than 3 to 5 per month) and charge a nominal fee at the conclusion of our services. We do not accept any UPFRONT FEES, DEPOSITS or MONTHLY PAYMENT PLANS because doing so would violate the FTC MARS Ruling effective Jan 2011. Our company charges, what we feel, is a nominal fee in consideration of the extensive time and expertise required to secure modifications for our clients. We can not afford to pay more fees beyond our current monthly budget because we are focused upon providing service more than striking it rich by taking on more clients than we can realistically service.
If you ask that clients I have helped our rating is a strong B+, because we can not make everyone happy but we always get the best modification possible for their situation. Unfortunately, clients who listen to "Uncle Bob" and their "neighbors" are often disappointed by the reality of the situation. I never promise that I can get them a particular modification dollar amount but I can promise the diligence of Pitbull against your lender.
