Has anyone completed a mortgage modification with us National Legal Solutions, 92 Corporate Park Suite C254, Irvine, Ca 92606? They claim to modify existing mortgage to affordable payment to keep my from losing my home. They sound very positive, I just don't want to get scammed as I know they are out there.

Have you tried calling a HUD-approved nonprofit housing counselor? You can speak with a certified counselor by calling 888-995-4673. They can evaluate your housing options, open lines of communication with mortgage lenders, negotiate a loan modification, and help you with household budgeting, all at no cost.

We were scammed out of $3000 by a modification company in Irvine CA. IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH YOUR MORTGAGE COMPANY. ITS FREE AND YOUR MORTGAGE COMPANY WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH YOU DIRECTLY. CALL THEM, ASK FOR A MANAGER AND EXPLAIN YOUR SITUATION. YOU WILL HAVE BETTER RESULTS. GOOD LUCK.
