Hi Todd,
The company has no complaints filed against them with the BBB, no reviews and a B- rating. I'm guessing the rating is B- because we don't have anything negative on the company, but we don't have any background on them like when they started or who the owner/CEO is. You can access the full report above by clicking on "View BBB Report".

Erin,
The phone number listed is disconnected. I checked the address and it looked to be an apartment building. Search who occupied the address and it came up with a married couple. I tried searching the 877 number and it is a protected number. Can you sell insurance or be a loan agent in California without a license? They have offered me a loan but want the first six payments in advance. It makes me leary. They need a answer by Friday. I did one reverse search and the number came up in Germany. The number is 877-417-4037. The original number they contacted me with has already been disconnected. The CEO listed on my contract Is Justin Grenoble. The agent said the company has been in business since 2000. How long have they been a member of the bbb?

I will bring this to the Colton BBB's attention, which is where the report is issued from. I would be leary as well. You shouldn't have to pay a large upfront fee for a loan and generally, I wouldn't suggest doing business such as this with a company outside the US. The company currently not a BBB Accredited Business.

Hi Todd, Here is the LA BBB's response: The customer is getting scammed. The company that he is dealing with most likely stole the identity of this company to make themselves look real. They are obviously using fake phone numbers. The only company with that name that has an insurance license is in Houston, TX. This looks like an advance fee loan scam. The general info for this is below. If I were him and he wants to continue the charade he should string them along for something in writing and report it to the FBI along with any other info he gathers.
California law requires that companies advertising the availability of loans or offering to procure loans or credit must be registered with the California Attorney General's Office as a Credit Services Organization and post a $100,000 bond.
To verify registration and bonding, contact the California Attorney General by writing to; DOJ. Att. Public Inquiry Unit, P O Box 944255, Sacramento, Ca. 94244, by calling (916) 322-3360, faxing 916-323-5341, or visit their website at www.ag.ca.gov.

Thank you for this information. I also received the same thing stating I was approved but had to pay a large fee up front. But then they said I only had so many days to do it if I wanted the loan for the mortgage. I attempted to email them back with a question and it came back saying my email has been blocked from their list. I wouldn't trust this company.
