IM TRYING TO FIX MY CREDIT WHO WILL BE THE BEST CONSULTANT FOR ME?
|
11/3/2010 6:26 PM (PST)
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO BUYING MY FIRST HOME, BUT MY CREDIT SCORE IS VERY LOW I HAVE NO BANKRUPTS AND NO LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST ME BUT THE TWO COMPANYS I CONTACTED SEEM LIKE THEY JUST WANT MONEY. THE COMPANY I BELIEVED CAN HELP ME IS CALLED THE COMMERCIAL CREDIT CONSULTANT, THEY CHARGED ME $60 JUST TO PULL MY CREDIT REPORT, THEY CALLED IT AN INSTITUTION CREDIT REPORT. SO BASICALLY THEY WILL BE REMOVING THINGS OF MY CREDIT REPORT LIKE THINGS I ALREADY PAID OFF AND NEGATIVE ACCOUNTS AS THEY PUT IT. IN TWO DAYS I WILL BE HAVING A FREE CULSULTATION OVER THE PHONE WITH SOMEONE TO SEE HOW THEY CAN HELP ME AND HOW MUCH MORE MONEY ILL HAVE TO PAY THEM. AND THE PROCESS OF FIWING MY CREDIT WILL TAKE UP TO 90 DAYS. I JUST NEED HELP WITH WHO TO GO TO AND WHO NOT TO GO TO HOW CAN I FIND THE RIGHT PEOPLE WITHOUT FEEL BETRAYED?

Constance,
You can click the links above to see the BBB Report or Reviews for Commercial Credit Consultants. They've had four complaints and did not respond to two of them.
You may want to seek out the assistance of a non-profit credit counseling service, they can advise you on the proper steps to take to restore your credit and repair your finances, rather than trying to charge you for promises they may not necessarily be able to keep.
Also, be sure to read the BBB's informative report on the Credit Repair industry: http://www.la.bbb.org/GIReport.aspx?DocumentID=79
