Does anyone have knowledge of a home warranty company out of New Jersey, called Choice Home Warranty? The current warranty co. we have is a total nightmare and the contract expires 12/31.

Tina,
It looks like you'd be heading into a nightmare with these guys as well, here's an excerpt from their BBB Report (http://www.bbb.org/new-jersey/business-reviews/home-warranty-plans/choice-home-warranty-in-edison-nj-90048733):
"On October 21, 2010 The Washington State Insurance Commissioner ordered the company to immediately cease and desist from engaging in or transacting the unauthorized business of insurance or acting as an unregistered service contract provider in the State of Washington. The company sold at least 92 service contracts to WA residents covering repair or replacement on major systems and appliances in the purchaser's home and promising that Choice Home Warranty will pay for repair or replacement of such systems and appliances in the event such systems or appliances fail. The company, and its principals, is not authorized to transact insurance in WA and is not registered in WA as a service contract provider.
Respondents have the right to demand a hearing. This Order is effective immediately and shall remain in effect subject to the further order of the Commissioner." If the government has concerns about this company, then so should you.
